Insights from the CONARH event

After two years without the event in its face-to-face format, CONARH (National Congress on People Management) 2022 returns for its 48th edition, with the theme: "People, Management and Business - It's time to welcome and broaden horizons". CONARH 2022 took place from April 18 to 20, at the São Paulo Expo, with a number of national and international speakers who raised important important discussions and fundamental reflections on the people management market and its future trends.

Considered one of the largest events in this segment in the world, it is a fact that the ideas and debates raised during the three days of CONARHwere essential to bring about greater growth in the area and help share powerful insights that add efficient solutions to the sector.

So today we're going to cover the main issues discussed in the lectures and workshops that took place simultaneously over the three days of the event. There were several valuable insights that will serve as guidelines for more assertive future decision-making, precisely because they also consider the current post-pandemic scenario.

Check it out now!

Thinking about the future is necessary!

The first day of the event was marked by strong points focused on a vision of the future. Analyzing the importance of thinking futuristically, that is, dealing with provocations and ideas that help leaders, managers and employees look at how they can prepare for the constant changes in the market, following developments and proposing different solutions to remain in the spotlight and take advantage of the facilities that technology offers to the sector.

The lecture that opened up these ideas about the future of work was "Think like a futurist: how to turn trends into tangible results" by American Elatia Abate with moderator Leonardo Coelho.

In this context, it is worth exploring the vision of the future in order to create a favorable environment for business and to provide the necessary support for professionals. In fact, the conversation about the future of work is very important and much more complex than you might think, and it is necessary to include different perspectives on the same subject.

CONARH speakers highlight the relevance of ESG in Human Resources

Another subject that found its way into the many discussions at CONARH 2022 was undoubtedly the importance of ESG in HR. One of the speakers was Marcelo Araújo, Corporate Executive Director of Ultrapar S/A.

The acronym ESGstands for "environmental, social and governance", which in translation means environment, social and governance. It is an important concept about the attitudes that should be taken on these issues within business organizations.

They are a set of practices aimed at exploring more sustainable solutions, as well as not harming the society around them or posing any risks to the economy. This happens when the company admits its responsibility for these sectors and seeks to align its processes and expectations to meet each demand satisfactorily.

The lecture "ESG leadership with purpose to transform the world"aimed to raise important questions about the social and environmental responsibility that companies have in society, directly impacting the entire community. It is necessary to invest in solutions that value these three sectors: environment, social and governance, in order to reflect positive business results.

Humanized Leadership is the theme of talks at CONARH

Lectures such as "Humanized Leadership as a foundation for high-performance teams: broaden your view of human capital and generate more results" or "Humanized Companies - How to transform companies with an emphasis on the human"were important for the debate on management that is more humanized and committed to the well-being of its employees.

This is all because in order to achieve an increasingly pleasant, empathetic and healthy working environment for everyone, it is necessary to understand the importance of managing people consciously, valuing individual skills and talents and providing favorable growth, where care in promoting more humanized communication is really the focus of Human Resources.

In this sense, technological advances in the area must be the great allies for leaders to be able to win over and retain more and more new talent for their companies. And also create a strong relationship with human and empathetic people management, where the focus is really on people.

Employees' mental health

In a scenario where employees from the most diverse sectors are constantly opting out of their jobs in order to focus on and prioritize their mental health. It is a fact that talking about the importance of this issue in the corporate environment is extremely necessary.

Thus, the event was perfect in addressing this issue with very enlightening lectures such as "Mental health, normalizing the normal?" or "Body and mind: a complete look at employee well-being" e "Psychological Safety to Leverage Agility and Innovation".

The proposal to address the mental health of employees comes at a time when we are hearing more and more about emotionally exhausted workers with high levels of stress.

Not to mention the big problem of the moment, BurnoutTherefore, understanding that the new HR that has emerged in the job market is one that is aware of its responsibility and the care it must take to offer a healthy working environment that does not make its talents ill, is what will change the whole way companies relate to their employees.
